Products with AI Capabilities
Test Evolve's product suite includes Flare, Spark and Halo.
Currently, Flare is the only product with active AI functionality. We are exploring AI integration for Spark and Halo and will revise this documentation as new capabilities launch.
AI Feature Access and Availability
Flare's AI features are enabled by default for all licensed users.
- Usage Tracking: Every AI interaction is logged and token consumption stored.
AI functionality activates only through deliberate user action. Users determine what information to submit.
Data Processing and Usage
When users engage with AI features in Flare:
- User input and any supplementary context (such as project details or workflow data) transmit securely to a large language model via dedicated APIs.
- The system processes this input to generate contextually relevant responses.
- Data selection for AI processing requires explicit user submission - no automatic selection occurs.
AI feature usage is voluntary. Users maintain complete discretion over submitted data.
Your Data Rights and Protections
Customer data ownership is absolute and non-negotiable.
- User inputs and AI-generated content qualify as "Customer Content" per Test Evolve's license agreement.
- Test Evolve does not distribute customer AI data to third parties or other customers.
- Customer data does not contribute to LLM training or model improvement.
- AI feature usage remains optional and all existing data rights and protections are preserved.
LLM Information
Test Evolve retains the right to modify or add LLM providers based on evolving technology and customer requirements. Any provider changes will uphold equivalent data protection standards.

Responsible AI Use Guide (Detail)
Test Evolve's AI capabilities help you work more efficiently and confidently. However, AI serves as a tool to support your work, not as a decision-making authority. This guide explains how to maximize AI feature benefits while maintaining safety, ethics, and responsibility.
Related Documentation
To understand Test Evolve's data protection and privacy practices for AI features, please review our AI Data Policy.
Always Review AI-Generated Content
AI generates suggestions based on learned patterns, which means accuracy isn't guaranteed.
- Review and refine all outputs before incorporating them into test cases, plans, or documentation.
- AI may generate incomplete, off-topic, or inaccurate content.
- Final content quality and accuracy remain your responsibility.
AI as an Assistant, Not a Replacement
AI augments your expertise rather than substituting it.
- AI accelerates idea generation, enhances coverage and streamlines documentation
- AI lacks the product knowledge your team possesses
- In regulatory, legal, or safety-critical contexts, AI should never serve as the sole information source
Prohibited Uses of AI Features
Maintain a safe and productive AI environment for everyone:
Prohibited Actions:
- Attempting to manipulate the system through prompt injection techniques
- Submitting malicious, deceptive, or harmful content
- Creating outputs that misrepresent or impersonate others
Violating these guidelines may result in access restrictions and breach of Test Evolve's Terms of Use.
Responsible AI begins with responsible use.
Protecting Confidential Information
Exclude the following from AI prompts:
- Personally identifiable information (PII)
- Proprietary customer data or production credentials
- Protected health information (PHI)
While our AI maintains security and privacy, avoiding unnecessary risk represents best practice. Please review our AI Data Policy for detailed information about data protection measures.
Align With Internal Guidelines
Your organization may enforce additional AI usage policies.
- Consult your security, legal, or compliance teams when uncertain
- Ensure AI usage conforms to internal standards
